One of the things you are not privilege to change about yourself is your lineage; the family you were born into. It is not possible to change who your mother and father is. Science has not been able to tackle this age long sum. But one thing is certain in that you can bring a change of story to your family.

Financial breakthrough and its glamorous aura is fascinating but there are certain habits and environment that settles people into the opposite side of life against their desire. You could desire whatever but if your attitude does not correlate, it is impossible to live your dream.

Symptoms:

1. Many people spend years trying to work their way out of financial binds only to end up more bound by debt than ever. e.g. a line of business may be going find for others. The moment people with this type of lot get into the business, the business slows down, and he end up losing his/her capital.

2. Others work doggedly on marriages that despite their best efforts the marital union deteriorate from year to year

3. Many people are backed into a corner of life, confused, hemmed by a seemingly insurmountable problems; they lack understanding of what has befall them.

What is wrong is not farfetched. When things are not as desire, it is better to look inward first before you move to look for the reason why outside of you. In most cases the problem lies within but difficult to accept responsibility.

Problems:

1. There are those who spend their kind words and warmest smiles on those beyond his/her front door.

2. Are you more courteous and nice to friends then your wife and children?

3. If you have high expectation of everyone around you or make more demand on your spouse, check it!

4. Saying ugly words hurting your own people

5. Criticizing your spouse and children to the extent that they are most of the time afraid to say their true feelings/mind on issues to you.

6. Are you in the habit of speaking harshly to your closest ones while you are so cautious outside? Check it! If you do any of these, it means spiritually you are under attack. You are being set up by evil spirit to destroy your home/family.

Satan knows when your home is in harmony; (love, peace and unity) you are bound for greatness. Harmony is one of the most powerful resources you can easily covert to riches and wealth. How? A house of peace enjoys positive aura, clear mind that think up quality ideas that solve quality problems; productive thinking is a product of a mind that is free from grudge; (dislike towards somebody as a result of something bad that has been done to you in the past) and that is the essential qualification for financial breakthrough, which you desire.

There was that afternoon, I was alone to myself when a thought came up, the inner dialogue goes thus why is it, that your husband is always the one to pray each time you pray together? Does that mean he does not believe God can hear you? Suddenly it occurred to me that for sometime really my husband does that. The thought continue, if you allow this to continue, don’t you think, he will lose confidence in you and look for another prayer partner?

Refuse to pray with him – henceforth afterall you have your quiet time alone, you can also stop praying together.” This is how strife starts. Most of the time what leads to marriage dissolution start from within, in this manner Holy Spirit intervened I came to myself and I told devil to shut up!

Any of us can pray at our altar, we are one and not two. In any case has God not been answering our prayers? That was how I resisted him, Satan from bringing discord to my home. The word says when the enemy shall come like a flood, the Spirit of God in us shall rise up against it. God is faithful to His words, glory!!!

Devil will show you how to nurse resentment against your spouse and harbor bitterness. All in his strategy to cause division in your home, knowing that a house divided against itself shall not stand. And there is need for agreement for good things to come. Without unity of mind and purpose, a home is empty.

Satan will stir up envy, anger, make you feel unworthy and hatred grows in you. These are weapons of destruction against your destiny. The earlier you insulate yourself the faster you achieve your goal in life.

There are families where nothing seems to work even though they work hard. They engage in different activities; actually you see every one busy but have nothing to show, they move in circle.

Through observation you will agree with me that within such family more times they backbite, envy, jealousy, they keep record of family quarrels and arguments. Such family can be likened to the ‘crab’ family.

In a crab family anyone trying to climb, another crab hook on to it not to push it up but to pull it down. This they do to one another until they all break their legs/wings and none is able to move or climb. Such families tear themselves down. The motive behind what they do or say is selfish or destructive and so no good result to show.

Strife is an enemy to financial breakthrough. Where there is crab mentality it is difficult to rise. Does it mean the door is shut against those who found themselves in this unfortunate state? Not at all!

There was a time the spirit of anger was tormenting me. I perceived it is in my family. I took it to God in prayers, fasted for three days. The light of God’s face shine upon me and the spirit of anger in me melted away. He replaces my anger with loving smile and I am bless for it.

Solution:

All you need do is to examine your attitude. Be honest with yourself. Keep ego or pride out of this. This is your life, if you fail to mend, the burden is yours. For where envying and strife is confusion and every evil work is. Stop your destructive criticism, James 3 vs 16.

Your harsh words, fighting, despising others. Invite the spirit of the living God into your life through Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth and the life, John 14 vs 6. Let His light shine into you, as you surrender your life to Him. He will transform you into a shinning star that cannot be ignored rather your light shine into others for a change of story.

No matter how terrible the state of your family is, Jesus has come to destroy the negative foundation laid, He will renew your mind with the word of God and show you how to live and enjoy His inheritance for you. God has given us richly, all things to enjoy. He delights in our wellbeing if you will hear and obey him as you change your ways. Strife is a recipe for lack of financial breakthrough.
