Financial Freedom is the desire of many as good marital life. The two are essentials of life, and the two are interwoven for anyone who will journey into them. It is not possible to attain financial freedom and good marriage overnight.

You have to go through the process of building. Though the material for building are almost the same (care must be taken as how you mix and apply the materials). Among the materials for both are: A burning desire to do good, which will show you the route you should follow. The determination to succeed against all odds, with  discipline and focus, along with power, strength, energy, persistent, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, good moral, positive mindset, consideration; applying the golden rule and also your relationship with God; for life is complex and you must be smart to play it. Since Money and women are most men’s obsession, only  divine leading can help you through.

Guilt means unhappy feelings caused by knowing or thinking (having conviction) that you have done wrong.

In our everyday life, there are things we do, and for which we later feel an inner query that tells us we were wrong. And so for much of the time, people enter into the cycle of guilt. People feel guilty, confess their sins, feel relief from the guilt. After a while, they fall into the same temptations and go over the process again. This is the “cycle of guilt” people get trapped in, day after day.

A married man, of about thirty-five years, helped a young lady on a ride from Maryland bus stop to Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, on a raining evening, after work. In appreciation of the gesture, cards were exchanged as per the lady’s request.

The second day, at around 11 a.m., the lady called the man to further appreciate him. This further revealed to both of them that they both lived around Ogba, in Ikeja area. The lady’s place of work was at Maryland while the man’s office was around Oba Akran.

Staying in a loveless marriage is a misfortune, where a wife thinks the husband is a misfit in her life. Or the husband sees himself as being trapped.

Nothing good comes out of such marriages. They (husband and wife) are co-tenants, who are always in anger; and they complain over everything done around the house. He/she does not stay at home; the spirit of strife is always around and so to avoid fight, he/she stays away.

The change in the behavior of your spouse is not because you are no more handsome or beautiful as the case may be. The thing is that something has gone wrong. A thought or an action could be the reason. More often, spouses become angry:

Marriage is an agreement between a man and a woman, to live as one; sharing the beauty of life together in the atmosphere of love and harmony for the rest of their days.

It is a privilege and a crown on a woman to be married. A woman is meant to be comfortable and fulfilled with her husband’s blessings and prosperity. For a female child, her husband’s place is her own, if she marries the right person.

Recently, I came across a slogan that caught my fancy. It set me thinking about my topic in this column on ‘Companionship’ with questions like: what is the purpose for having a companion? popping up. And, who should my companion be?, was the next question that rushed in.

However, an answer quickly came in that gave me peace. The answer came via a slogan, it is in the form of an inspiring, few words, carefully strung together to convey an all time important message of ‘two are better than one’.

We bring to your attention or remind you of the importance of a good marital life to you, which many ignorantly treat as less important.

Good marital life has more to add to your future and your lineage. Managing your marital relationship for a Peaceful, Fruitful, and Progressive life has no subtitute. The status of your marriage touches on other aspects of your life. It is that serious!  A life without good marital status is incomplete.

Nehemiah, though in bondage came out to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. Moses, though a stammerer, led the nation of Israel out of Egyptian’s Slavery. Apostle Paul writes: “but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty. More so, in the book of Isaiah, God said through His prophet, “for my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways my ways… In all, obedience is the key to walking with God.

The value-driven citizens of our great nation, Nigeria, are getting ready to usher in a new dispensation. You have elected into different vacant positions people who should run the affairs of this nation, for the next four years, through your vote.

A constitution, with which to run the affairs of this nation through your vote, is in place.  Plans of what to do and how best to do it, for excellent results, are being put in place by the elected officers.

People are being called to be in charge of certain institutions, and aspects of the nation’s development.

Mother of  Nations Intercessory Group (MONIG) an intercessor and prayer group, is thanking God for visiting Nigeria and her citizens through two distinguished honourable men-of-the-moment in our great Nation.

At different quarters, heartfelt prayers have been offered for Nigeria by spiritual leaders and groups, to come out of the valley, and up to the mountain top to shine as the moon and stars among the comity of nations. As God has said that His ear is attentive, His eyes is here and His presence  is too, to answer every prayer offered in this nation.
